An attempt to be salt and light in my world...which is made up of teaching in and chairing a science department at a small college and all the craziness that comes with having three kids (ages 7, 5, and baby) and a spouse who travels for work on occasion.

Department chair meeting
I don't drink. I bake instead.
Today's department chair meeting resulted in me making two sweet potato pecan pies, fudgy oatmeal bars, and butterscotch haystacks.
I teach. I parent. I try to do research, exercise, and show God's love to others...with varying degrees of success. I feel like I'm always running, but not getting far...
